New Study Shows Benefits of CBT alone vs. SSRI’s or Combos

I am not a medical professional but I try to read as many relevant studies as I can in the areas of depression, anxiety, and addiction and recovery.

As someone who suffers from panic disorder and addiction, many aspects of both afflictions seem co-productive to me.

Anyway, a recent study has come out that suggests that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alone may be a better treatment for anxiety than SSRI’s, placebos, or a combination of CBT and SSRI’s.

I had very poor results from SSRI’s and very positive results from CBT, so this study is a reflection of my personal experience.
